Fraunhofer IAPT enables sustainable innovations in the field of additive manufacturing for our research and development partners. The portfolio includes both collaborative and contract research at the process and material level, allowing for unique component designs and system solutions, as well as factory planning and virtualization along the entire AM process chain and all technology maturity levels. All aspects of the AM process chain are considered end-to-end and holistically, from the basic idea and feasibility to industrial implementation in new or existing production environments. Special attention is given to socially relevant future topics such as life sciences, energy, mobility, as well as security and defense from an application perspective. Our overarching goal is to enable large-scale industrial use of additive production technologies, contributing significantly to increased productivity, resource conservation, resilience, and prosperity.

NXRT is an Austrian deep technology company based in Vienna, which has developed a new simulation method with a strong focus on increasing safety in the automotive and railway sectors. The core of the patented technology is Mixed Reality, proprietary algorithms and further technological components. These elements enables creation of XR applications for various use-cases. Current implementations include immersive human training as well as demonstration and testing of safety systems. Company activities focuses also on the use of simulation in the area of Human Factor Engineering for Autonomus and Semi-Autonomus Vehicles. NXRT cooperate with brands such as Porsche, AUDI, Rhomber Sersa Rail Group, ÖAMTC &ADAC.

Pumacy Technologies AG, a SME technology solution provider, is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer IPK Berlin, and was founded over 20 years ago. PUMACY focuses on the adoption of industry 4.0- concepts to cloud and IoT platforms. 

Technology-wise we are highly familiar with data analytics, machine learning, collaborative robotics, IoT + sensors, digital twins, and blockchain technology, while combining and applying these technologies in different industrial scenarios within production & manufacturing. Our team currently consists of 20 people, mainly engineers, data & computer scientists, and business developers.

Mercedes-Benz Türk produces city-buses and coaches at the Hoşdere Bus Plant in Istanbul and light, medium and heavy-duty trucks at the Aksaray Truck Plant. These facilities are an important part of Daimler AG’s development and production network. Mercedes-Benz Türk also sells the vehicles, which are exclusively produced in Turkey in the domestic and export markets. Furthermore, the company imports and sells Mercedes-Benz vans and all passenger car brands of the Daimler group. Mercedes-Benz Türk is in a leading position thanks to its state-of-the-art products in the domestic coach market and in the domestic truck market over 6 tonnes. 

Mercedes-Benz Türk is also the top bus and truck exporter in Turkey. The main destination for Mercedes-Benz Türk’s exports is Western Europe. According to “AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING BULLETIN November 2019 (OSD, 2019)” domestic market share of MBT in bus segment is 45,5%, whereas 43,7% in truck segment. 

Today 80 % of the buses produced by Mercedes-Benz Türk are exported to more than 70 countries, especially to Western Europe.

Vimansys Digital Solutions is a spin-off company of Uludağ University and was founded by engineers from the department Digital Manufacturing at the Institute of Vehicle Technologies.

The company has been focusing for several years on manufacturing and material based projects, especially how to make process effects and parameters clear within virtual mechanical simulations FEA. Meanwhile Vimansys has been supporting companies and universities for funded projects both to develop technological improvements and to mature project proposals and consortiums, which let Vimansys enhance its collaboration capability and capacity. 

Main business fields are; digitalisation and automation of material characterisations, manufacturing processes and part quality as assembled or monolithic structure.

PLASKAR PLASTİK A.Ş is a Plastic injection part supplier for mainly automotive industry with IATF 16949 quality certification. Operates at 7500 square meter area with 27 high technology machine with different capabilities. within range of 100 to 1300 Kn clamping forces.
